Join us in the Great Hall on November 17, 2019 from 2pm-3pm for a performance by the Civic Orchestra of Baton Rouge.

The Civic Orchestra of Baton Rouge is a nonprofit musical organization dedicated to increasing opportunities for our community to engage with dynamic music through culturally responsive musical performances, and to cultivate our members’ orchestral experience. Musicians of all backgrounds ages 18 and older meet once a week for rehearsals and perform four major concerts and several chamber concerts at various locations around the East Baton Rouge Parish.

We’re hosting another Wild Day at the Rowe this November with Friends of the Baton Rouge Zoo!

This family-friendly event will include ambassador animals from the Baton Rouge Zoo, live music from DJ Bob, children’s activities, arts and crafts with Baton Rouge Moms, face painting, games and more!

Throughout the event, attendees can learn more about the ambassador animals and take photos with them in the Great Hall, the covered area in front of Cinemark.
*NOTE: This is not a petting zoo.

A Zoo representative will also host live presentations with a different ambassador animal at the following times. DEPENDING ON WEATHER, these animals could include, but are not limited to: Tenrec, Speckled King Snake, Screech Owl, Bearded Dragon, Legless Lizard, Box Turtle and more.

Join us for our third annual Spook N Rowe – a family-friendly Halloween event the whole family can enjoy! There will be tons of tricks as well as sweet treats throughout the evening.

Families are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes to enjoy a safe environment of trick-or-treating down the Rowe! We will have music, children’s arts and crafts with Baton Rouge Moms, face painting, and more! We will also be joined by Petite Princess Company for a princess meet and greet with Descendant’s characters!

Perkins Rowe is teaming up with Companion Animal Alliance for the cutest fashion show of the year!

This family-friendly fashion show fundraiser will be held on September 29 at 11am and will showcase the best fall looks from various retailers at the Rowe such as Anthropologie, Kendra Scott, Frock Candy, and Shades. In addition to the fall looks, each model will also be accompanied by an adoptable pup from Companion Animal Alliance. All K9 participants will be available for adoption after the runway show.

There will be special in-store discounts, giveaways, and a raffle the day of the event. California Pizza Kitchen and Barnes & Noble will also be donating a percentage of your check when mentioning Companion Animal Alliance at checkout.

School of Rock celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Original Woodstock Concert!

School of Rock Baton Rouge & School of Rock Metairie / New Orleans bring you a mini-festival of Woodstock proportions! Over 40 kids will perform more than 30 songs from the original 1969 Woodstock Concert, including bands like the Grateful Dead, The Who, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and so many others. Brought to you by School of Rock and Perkins Rowe, this show takes place at the Perkins Rowe outdoor venue. The Baton Rouge show will be Free, Open to the public, and all ages!

These students have spent 15 weeks over the summer preparing for this first-ever collaboration between the Metairie / New Orleans and the Baton Rouge schools. Come see the future of live performance!
