Baton Rouge, LA (March 25, 2025) – Tacos del Cartel, the elevated Mexican concept that has redefined modern Mexican cuisine in New Orleans, is bringing its bold flavors, handcrafted cocktails, and lively atmosphere to Baton Rouge. The restaurant will open in early spring 2025 in Perkins Rowe, one of the city’s most dynamic retail and entertainment hubs.
The expansion is guided by Culinary Director Atzin Santos, known for his work at Limosneros, a Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant in Mexico City. Santos’ approach to authentic Mexican flavors, heirloom corn, and modern techniques has positioned Tacos del Cartel as a standout concept in every market it enters.
