Perkins Rowe Welcomes Drago’s Seafood Restaurant
BATON ROUGE, LA (May 13, 2025) – Perkins Rowe announced today that the home of the legendary Charbroiled Oysters, Drago’s Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar will be joining its tenant mix. The restaurant will occupy 7,319 sqft of 2nd generation space in Town Square.
Drago’s Seafood Restaurant was founded in 1969 by Drago and Klara Cvitanovich with a simple mission: to serve delicious seafood in a welcoming environment at a fair price. What began as a modest, family-run operation has since grown into a beloved institution known across the region for its signature dishes and warm hospitality.
Over the decades, Drago’s has expanded significantly, both in reach and in team size. What started as a small restaurant now employs more than 400 dedicated staff members—each playing a vital role in upholding the Cvitanovich family legacy. Together, they continue to share their love of Louisiana seafood with every guest who walks through the door.
“I am really excited to re-open in Baton Rouge and add Breakfast like our Original Metairie location,” says Tommy Cvitanovich, Owner. “This location is ‘extra cool’ with all the events outside our front door in the Square.”
